Finding Flora, Finding Home Collection
This collection of works is an exploration of femininity, freedom, and nature.
I have always been fond of the mythologies surrounding folk art, how colors are used to portray emotions, and how artists use their brushes to loosen up their paintings and make them more free. These interests have led me to work on my latest painting collection, “Finding Flora, Finding Home”.
In these works you will find images of a horse, apples, rabbits, oranges, pearls, and other things. These images represent a number of ideals such as: strength, spirituality, love, knowledge, beauty, resilience, rebirth, intuition, and creativity.
